We are constantly growing and we are now looking for a Software Development Engineer for embedded devices.

Your mission

You will be a part of a team who will create the next generation gateway for meter reading. The product is built upon embedded Linux system with the latest technology in communication as LoRaWAN and other wired and wireless technologies. The product is included in an eco system for measuring and communication towards cloud services, meters and sensors.

You will work in a company with high technical competence and in projects carried out according to Scrum. You will have the freedom to work and participate in different projects and teams and you will have the possibility to expand your role all over the stack. Elvaco wants you to work with assignments you enjoy and are good at. This is the most important thing to be able to perform a good job.

Elvaco prefers to give the employees responsibility and you should also be able to take your own responsibility and work independently, but also as an important part of the team.

Requirements

We are looking for a person with genuine technical interest who wants to be a part of and contribute to the R&D department at Elvaco:

• Master of Science in Electronics, Computer, Technical Physics or relevant work experience in similar work fields
• Experience in building custom Linux distributions, containers and network protocols
• Experience in working with databases, SQL, OpenWrt, #C and/or Java
• English written and spoken
• Meritating with experience in following fieldbus protocols: Bacnet, Modbus, M-Bus, Wireless M-Bus and Wired M-Bus
• Meritating with experience in LPWAN technologies: LoRaWAN, LTE, NBIoT and CatM
